Our Patron

Saint George (soldier, martyr, and dragon-slayer) is the patron saint of scouts. Born in Lydda, Palestine, in 280 AD, he stood firm in his Christian faith under the persecutions of Emperor Diocletian, and was martyred on April 23, 303 AD. We follow his example: courage, faith, and service.

شفيع الكشافة

هو شفيع الكشاف. وُلد القديس جورج في اللد بفلسطين عام ٢٨٠م. عارض الاضطهادات التي قادها الإمبراطور ديوكليتيان، واستُشهد في ٢٣ نيسان عام ٣٠٣م. يُصوَّر ممتطيًا حصانه يحارب التنين، وعلى الكشّافة أن يفتخروا بشفيعهم وأن يتبعوا هذا المدافع عن المسيحية.

Who Are We?

A scouting family of over 160 active members, rooted in the Orthodox Christian faith. Since 2008, we've grown together at the Presentation of the Lord Cathedral in Swefieh, building lifelong skills, lifelong friendships, and a deeper connection to God.

عائلة كشفية من أكثر من ١٦٠ عضوًا نشطًا، متجذّرة في الإيمان المسيحي الأرثوذكسي. منذ تأسيسها عام ٢٠٠٨ في كاتدرائية دخول السيد إلى الهيكل بالصويفية، نكبر معًا في الإيمان والمحبة والخدمة.
